Dr S Naim – Co-Founder & General Practitioner (MBBS, BSc)

Dr S Naim is a practicing NHS GP bringing clinical oversight and medical leadership to Healthcare Strategy Ltd. As co-founder, she ensures that services are aligned with national clinical priorities and that patient safety remains at the core of our delivery model. She also provides supervision to allied prescribers and supports quality assurance processes.

Mr D Karania – Co-Founder, Managing Director & Advanced Clinical Practitioner (MSc MPharm, CIP, QSIR, PRINCE2)

Mr D Karania is an MSc-qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioner and Independent Prescriber with a strong track record in NHS service delivery and strategic clinical leadership. He has led large-scale optimisation projects, supervised clinical teams, and held senior roles in PCNs and ICBs. He is a Designated Prescribing Practitioner, actively supporting the education of future prescribers. Mr D Karania is responsible for clinical delivery, service development, and governance at Healthcare Strategy Ltd.

Mr A Karania – Clinical Pharmacist Prescriber (MPharm, PGCert, CIP)

Mr A Karania is a GPhC-registered Clinical Pharmacist and Independent Prescriber with extensive frontline experience in general practice. He specialises in diabetes management, structured medication reviews, and long-term condition optimisation. He plays a key role in delivering patient-facing services and mentoring junior clinicians within the team.

Bank Prescribers – GPs, ACPs, Clinical Pharmacists, and Nurses

To maintain flexibility and responsiveness, we employ a pool of qualified bank clinicians including General Practitioners, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Independent Prescribing Pharmacists, and Nurse Prescribers. All clinicians are DBS-cleared, indemnified, and supported with the appropriate IT, supervision, and digital documentation systems to provide safe, effective patient care.
